A few quick questions suzie

Are you in the my pictures folder when this happens or are you using a program like paint?
What operating system are you using? Windows XP or Vista?

one thing you can try is ....
1..Open My Computer
2..Right-click the CD-RW drive-letter, and choose Properties
3..Select the Recording tab
4..Place a checkmark near Enable CD recording on this drive and click OK.
5..If it is already ticked then we will try something else.

Let me know how this goes??

My picture task now says copy to cd. once again thankyou.  Now when I checked the enable cd recording on this drive and hit apply it won't stay checked??  Not sure why that is.  When I try to copy to cd, my picture folder it says Windows encountered a problem trying to copy this folder.  It keeps saying that on each folder.
