Hi everyone
My name is Mitz and yes this is my real name. I live in Australia, north of Brisbane, in Queensland. I love computers and solving problems and I think that you do not have to speak in technical terms to be a computer geek.

Don't be shy about asking questions because we all have to start somewhere. and we can all learn something new everyday.

Hi, I'm Dak (you'll have to guess if thats my real name or not !) and I live in D'Aguilar, a tiny little town in the sunny Australian state of Queensland, just north of Brisbane.
I'm a middleaged student, studying a double major in Web Design and Network Security at Queensland University of Technology. I'm one of the Administrators of this Forum, and a self-confessed geek with a lot of knowledge to share, so you'll see my name come up pretty regularly answering (or trying to !) your toughest questions. If you have a tricky computer problem, I'll enjoy finding a solution for you and explaining it in language you can understand!

Already enjoying your input immensely Ryan, thanks!

Always good to have extra people answering questions! Mitz and I are both very capable, but everyone has different areas of expertise, and we are often both stumped by questions people ask, so its wonderful to have your input as well. You'll obviously also have different areas of expertise and interests, and your input will be valuable and appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, and I hope we see you here a lot !

 Smiley Helllo Forum members.
My user name is the meister and my real name is Dorothy.  I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and have been here in the city for 15 years. I am 50 years old and single.
I am not very technologically hip so I tend to rely on my brother, dad and anyone who can turn on a computer.
I use a dell inspiron 1501 and Vista home basic.  I have had to purchase an external drive (320gb) because I am running out of memory.  I can only load max 2 gb and so bought in 2007/2008. Grin
So I look forward to reading the posts and looking for some help.  I recently did a post re: Windows Media Player. Smiley
